What Does a Naturopath DO, Really?

What It's Like to Work with Me

A client came to me about a year ago, seeking help for fatigue that was verging on depression. Her foundational health habits were generally good, so I helped her fine-tune her nutritional routine by pointing out what was supporting her well-being and what wasn’t.
She was eager to feel better, so I recommended the LifeWave X39 patch. Within a week, she noticed improved energy and found it easier to make healthy choices. Her sleep became more restful, and she began exercising more regularly.
At her 3-month check-in, she shared something unexpected: her eyesight seemed to be improving. Her prescription glasses were bothering her, and she was wearing them less often. “Can we do something to build on this?” she asked.
We turned to targeted botanical support. While astaxanthin is often excellent for eye and capillary health, muscle testing indicated it wasn’t the best choice for her. Instead, I recommended a botanical blend that included bilberry, known for its eye-specific support. She continued to experience (literally) clearer vision.
However, her progress hit a tricky plateau. She couldn’t see well through her old prescription, but wasn’t yet clear enough without it. Straining her eyes continually was exhausting, even as she remained encouraged by the progress.
At our next visit, I added a homeopathic remedy that supports the restoration of healthy eye tissue. The next follow-up disclosed that she was only using basic readers for close-up tasks. She was ecstatic to share that the previous week, she’d gone out to dinner and forgotten her readers, but was able to read the menu clearly for the first time in well over a decade.
This is what naturopathy can look like. Root-level support, tailored tools, and lasting change. This is vitality, from the inside out.
